Dojo Capacity/Size: 70 sqm

Background: When Ian moved to Sydney in 1987 he began training under Takayasu Sensei at North Sydney and continues to train under him at his new dojo in the city.

Ian comes from a background in Goju-ryu Karate, and Chinese Internal arts, and the strength these arts give him flowed through into his Aikido.

A French Polisher by trade and antique conservator in his own business, his interests extend to speed ice- skating and fly fishing and spending plenty of time with his children.

Dojo Philosophy: Up to first black belt I consider the basics are of the upmost importance, so that everyone can make Aikido their own. After black belt I encourage ones own personal development.
